The Rose Awards
Ohio OnStage feels it is very important to give back to those who gave to them throughout the year and thus The Rose Awards was created. Throughout the year each volunteer will receive points which are tracked monthly to go towards The Rose Awards which is held annually and is accrued by hours volunteered, 'above and beyond' duties, type of work volunteered, donations and more. The three categories in which participants will compete for The Golden Rose are Performers, Donors and Backstage. Performers include not only actors and actresses but musicians as well; Donors include Businesses and Individuals who donate resources and monetary gifts to assist in future productions; Backstage includes all set, stage hands, hospitality, security and costuming individuals. More information on how you can be awarded The Golden Rose is shared at our quarterly meetings which everyone is encouraged to attend. In addition to The Golden Rose Award, there will be several other awards presented the night of The Rose Awards, which is a black tie affair. Donors giving $1500 and up each year will be given a 3 minute live commerical spot at The Rose Awards Ceremony. More information on what Donors receives is outlined on the donations page.
